Yes. The crisper plate has a nano-ceramic coating. 

• Containers: Borosilicate glass with BPA free plastic handles
• Adapter: BPA free plastic and metal
• Crisper plates: Aluminum with a nano-ceramic coating.
• Lids: BPA free plastic

Place the crisper plate into the container evenly and push down until completely inserted. Push gentle to avoid bending the crisper plate.

Adapter should be used when cooking with the 2.5qt or 4qt containers.

Note: Do not use adapter when cooking with the 5 or 6 cup containers.

Large batch container is perfect for big batches of food, when entertaining or feeding a family of 4+. 

Small batch container is perfrect for personal size meals, appetizers, or leftovers.

Medium batch container is perfect for sharable snacks and side dishes.

No, the easy grip handles are permanently attached to the glass containers to prevent any damage to countertops while cooking and allows a safe place to handle the hot glass. 

To remove the crisper plate, insert a fork into a slot on the crisper plate and gently lift up.

The PowerPod should be cleaned thoroughly after each use. ALWAYS let the appliance cool completely before cleaning.

NOTE: NEVER immerse the PowerPod in water or any other liquid. NEVER clean the PowerPod in a dishwasher

The glass containers, adapter and crisper plates can be washed in the dishwasher. If food residue is stuck on the containers, adapter, or crisper plate, place them in a sink filled with warm, soapy water and allow to soak. Thoroughly air-dry or towel-dry all parts after cleaning. 

 The lids can be washed in the dishwasher (top rack only) or by hand. If hand-washing, thoroughly air-dry or towel-dry all parts after use. 

 Glass containers: Be sure to allow glass to cool gradually to room temperature before placing it in water, sink, or dishwasher.

Please note that the rubber feet are not designed to be removed for cleaning purposes.

The PowerPod, containers, adapter, and crisper plate should be thoroughly cleaned after every use. Before cleaning, unplug the PowerPod from the wall outlet. The PowerPod should be cleaned thoroughly after each use. ALWAYS let the appliance cool

completely before cleaning.

Yes, but use the proper breading technique. It is important to coat foods first with flour, then with egg, and then with bread crumbs. Be sure to press the bread crumbs onto the food with your hands. Because the unit has a powerful fan as part of its mechanism, the coating can sometimes be blown off. Pressing the bread crumbs firmly on will help them stick.

Yes. We recommend checking on your food regularly throughout the cooking process. Simply press the 'START' button to pause or lift the PowerPod off of the container and shake or toss the food. Press 'START' to resume the cook cycle.

Yes. It is safe to use parchment paper and aluminum foil in the containers. The use of aluminum foil is suggested in some recipes.

Yes. It is important to shake or toss your food for consistent browning and crispiness. For best results, follow the recipe or cooking chart to find out how often you should shake or rotate ingredients while cooking.  

Follow package instructions for air frying.

No, the cooking system does not need to be preheated.

Although oil is not required, we recommend starting with one tablespoon and adjusting for personal preference, or referencing the recipe for recommended oil amounts.  

Follow air fry instruction but reduce time by 3-5 minutes.

If using a crisper plate, first place it into the Ninja TempWare container. Place ingredients into the container. Place the PowerPod onto the container ensuring it is aligned and secured properly. Be sure to assemble the adapter if using the 2.5qt or 4qt container. Using the mode button select the RECRSIP function. Use the + and - buttons to select the desired cook time and press start. 

NOTE: for any food that needs warming and not crisping, be sure to place under the crisper plate. 

If using a crisper plate, first place it into the Ninja TempWare container. Place ingredients into the container. Place the PowerPod onto the container ensuring it is aligned and secured properly. Be sure to assemble the adapter if using the 2.5qt or 4qt container. Using the mode button select the MAX CRSIP function. Use the + and - buttons to select the desired cook time and press start. 

If using a crisper plate, first place it into the Ninja TempWare container. Place ingredients into the container. Place the PowerPod onto the container ensuring it is aligned and secured properly. Be sure to assemble the adapter if using the 2.5qt or 4qt container. Using the mode button select the BAKE function. Use the + and - buttons to select the desired cook time and press start. 

Place the Crispi Power Pod (with or without adapter) on heat-safe surfaces only. Always use caution when handling as the Ninja TempWare glass containers will get hot during cooking.

Your Ninja Crispi has counter-safe feet on the Ninja Tempware glass containers. You may place the Ninja Tempware glass containers on heat-safe surfaces and use caution when handling as the container will get hot during cooking. Is safe to safe to use the TempWare containers  on granite, laminate, quartz, butcher block and marble. When Ninja Tempware glass container are hot, always use easy-grip handles to handle.

We recommend to use the crisper plate when you want food to come out crispy. The plate elevates the food in the container so air can flow under it for even cooking and crisping.

Always use oven mitts or heat-resistant gloves to handle the cooking system during cooking or when it’s hot.

When the unit is powered on, the digital display will show 10 and the MODE light will turn on.

FN101- The PowerPod has 4  cooking functions: Recrisp, Air Fry, Max Crisp, and Bake. 

FN100- The PowerPod has 3 cooking functions: Recrisp, Air Fry, and Max Crisp

The timer increments vary depending on the function: 

• Recrisp: 1-minute increments up to 30 minutes, time will start counting down in seconds after 1 minute
• Air Fry: 1-minute increments up to 60 minutes, time will start counting down in seconds after 1 minute
• Max Crisp: 1-minute increments up to 60 minutes, time will start counting down in seconds after 1 minute
• Bake: 1-minute increments up to 30 minutes, time will start counting down in seconds after 1 minute

375°F (Bake) - 450°F (Max Crisp)

The exhaust vent is located on the back side of the unit. This area will heat up during cooking. When using this appliance, make sure to provide at least 6 inches of space above and on all sides for air circulation.

Where is the power button located?

Although the outside of the cooking system will heat up during the cooking process, the control panel and top grip of the PowePod will remain safe to touch.

Yes, the outside of the TempWare/glass containers will be hot during and after cooking but the permanently attached easy-grip handles will remain safe to touch.

Yes. you can adjust the cook time or mode at any point throughout the cooking process. Press the time + and - buttons or MODE button to adjust time and cooking function.

Yes, the PowerPod will automatically pause. 

Pressing START button during cooking will PAUSE the cooking function. Lifting the PowerPod off of the container will automatically pause the cooking time.

The display shows in MM (minutes).

The Crispi PowerPod™ dimensions are as following 7.9 L x 8.2 W x 6.5 H (in). 

Follow the steps below to install the pod adaptor:

1. Place the pod into the adapter, and ensure the 4 feet on the pod are aligned to the four corners of the adapter.

2 Push the pod down until you hear the adapter click onto the pod.

3 Place now assembled pod and adapter onto large Ninja Glass container. 

 “LID” will display on the control panel if PowerPod is not properly secured.

 To safely remove the adapter from the PowerPod, allow it to cool before interacting.. 

1. Grip the top of the power pod with one hand and use the other hand to grasp the front tab of the adapter.

2. Push down on the tab while lifting the pod.The power pod should easily lift off of the adapter

Use the + and - buttons to select the desired time.

No, only the Ninja TempWare containers are compatible with the Ninja Crispi PowerPod.

Ninja Crispi includes 4 different functions; each set to cook at the temperature ranges listed below.   

RECRISP - Use for reviving leftovers, temperature ranges 380F-400F

AIR FRY - Use it to crisp all your favorite food with little to no oil. Temperature ranges 400F-425F.

MAX CRISP - Use it to get an extra crispy crunch with rapid heat. Best for prepackaged frozen foods. Temperature ranges 425F-450F.

BAKE - Use it for the perfect golden brown on desserts and bread. Temperature ranges 375F-400F. (Bake is not available on all models)

When using Ninja Crispi, you can select the desired function and the cooking time, but you cannot select or change the cooking temperature. 

Tip: We recommend following the cooking charts and recipes in the Quick Start Guide. If you are cooking less food than the recipe calls for, remember to reduce the cooking time. If you’re cooking a bit more, increase the cooking time. Check food frequently.

1. Align all 4 feet of the powerpod with the 4 corners of the adapater.
2. Ensure that the Powerpod's power cable is not touching any part of the adapter.
3. Ensure that the air vent in the back of the Powerpod is fully exposed and is not being blocked by any part of the adapter.

The small container nests perfectly in the large container and the PowerPod with the adapter assembled can be stacked on nested containers. Store the lids separately near the containers.
