Auto-iQ programs are preset with unique pulsing and pausing patterns that deliver consistent, even results with the touch of a button. When using an Auto-iQ program, the blender will run automatically until the digital timer counts down to zero.
BOOST works with any Auto-iQ program to customize the consistency of your recipe. When selecting an Auto-iQ program, you have the option of selecting BOOST YES or BOOST NO depending on the consistency you prefer. Select BOOST YES with an Auto-iQ program to get the smoothest results possible, or toggle to NO for more texture.

No, the BlendMax DUO cannot heat soups from cold ingredients or blend hot ingredients. Ninja containers are not intended For hot blending. Please note, after you blend cool ingredients, it can be poured into a saucepan to heat up if desired.
Place the lid on the pitcher by aligning the triangle symbol located on the lid with the triangle symbol located on the pitcher's handle. Press down on the handle until you hear a click. The triangle symbols MUST be aligned for the lid to lock into place. For your safety, the blender will not power on if the lid is incorrectly assembled.
To remove the lid, press the RELEASE button on the top of the lid and lift up on the handle. To remove the stacked blade assembly, carefully grasp the blade assembly by the top of the shaft and remove from the pitcher. The pitcher can then be emptied.
Certain Auto-iQ programs are compatible with each container. You are only able to select programs that are illuminated once the container is locked in. EXTRACT is not compatible with the 88 oz. Pitcher.

The TOTAL CRUSH program crushes ice cubes (including ones made with coffee or juice) to create snow cones, granitas and frozen treats. It also pulverizes frozen berries into powder for a unique twist on frozen desserts.
The FROZEN DRINK program turns ice and other ingredients into delicious frozen drinks and cocktails.
