CLEANING & CARE
Allow cookware to cool completely before washing. Never immerse a hot pan in cold water, as this may lead to irreparable warping. Always clean cookware thoroughly after use, as grease buildup over time can lead to food sticking. If you notice grease or discoloring, clean thoroughly with baking soda and white vinegar, then wipe with a sponge or soft cloth.
HAND-WASH ONLY
ONLY use mild liquid dish soap to handwash. Soak in warm water as needed, and use a non-abrasive sponge or towel to remove any debris.
Dishwasher use is not recommended in order to keep your cookware looking new.
How can I safely remove sticky and/or burnt on debris from my pan?
Wait until your pan cools and soak it in warm water, use a non-abrasivesponge or towel to remove any debris. For more difficult spots, sprinkle baking soda on the pan, add water and bring it to a boil. Use a wooden spoon to gently scrape the burnt food bits. For those food bits that just won't budge: clean with a gentle, chlorine-free cleanser, like Bar Keeper’s Friend® or Bon Ami®.
What types of oils are safe to use in my pans?
All cooking oils are safe to use with your Ninja EverClad™ cookware. We recommend high smoke point oils (canola, vegetable, sunflower, peanut, sesame, etc.) when cooking with high heat to prevent them from smoking.
What is the best way to store my pans?
We recommend storing your pans in a single layer if possible. If you need to stack your pans, place a paper towel or pan protector in between each pan to reduce the changes of scratching your pans.
Should I pre-heat my cookware and when do I know that it's ready for cooking?
We recommend pre-heating your pan for 1-2 minutes at the same temperature that you intend to use when cooking. DO NOT use a hotter temperature to heat your pan than intended for cooking.
To determine if your pan is ready for use, simply add a few drops of water. If you hear a sizzle, the pan is ready for use. If not, continue pre-heating.
What temperature should I use when cooking?
Use high heat for boiling liquids and searing. Never leave an empty pan on high for more than 2 or 3 minutes as this can damage the pan and lead to sticking.
- Use medium-high heat for sauteing, frying, and stir-frying.
- Use medium heat for reducing liquids and making pancakes, sandwiches, and omelets.
- Use low heat to warm foods, simmer ingredients, or prepare delicate sauces.
What types of utensils can I use in my pans?
All utensils are safe for use including metal. Metal utensils including spatulas, spoons, whisks, and tongs are safe for use with your Ninja EverClad™ cookware. Never use sharp instruments such as knives or forks or appliances such as electric mixers to cut, chop, or whip foods as this may scratch the surface. Such damage will void the warranty.
Why does food sometimes stick to my pans?
Stainless steel cookware is not naturally nonstick. Always preheat your pans at the intended cooking temperature. Once preheated, add enough oil or butter to coat the entire cooking surface of the pan to help with food release.
How can I remove discoloration from my pan?
A rainbow coloring can sometimes appear on stainless steel. This is caused by a reaction with the chromium in the pan at high temperatures. This does not impact cooking performance, but it can easily be removed by wiping the pan with diluted 1:1 parts water and white vinegar using a soft sponge or cloth.
How can I remove white spots from my pan?
White spots can occur if you have hard water or do not dry your cookware immediately after washing. These can be removed by boiling a solution of 1:1 parts water and white vinegar and drying immediately.
How long are the handles on the pans?
The handles will be either 7 or 8 inches long depending on the size of the pan.
Why are the outsides of my pans discolored?
If cooking on a gas range, do not allow the flame to rise along the outside of the pan, as this may lead to discoloration.
Why is there a popping/crackling sound coming from the lid when cooking?
Two things can happen that can cause this noise:
- Moisture can get trapped between the glass and the stainless steel rim and cause a popping/crackling/hissing sound. This is normal and will not affect cooking performance.
- As the lid heats up and the glass and stainless steel start to expand slightly, rubbing can occur from thermal expansion and create a noise. There is no need for concern.
